Setup, placement, and returns
In-home setup is available. The scope that is already written is setup assistance, assembly, and demonstration, plus return and exchange pickups. Carry-in and placement are part of getting a bed or a wheelchair into the room the patient named. Demonstration is showing the patient or the caregiver how the piece works. It stops before clinical care. Dragonfly does not provide nursing, respiratory therapy, or a claim that a driver is a clinician.
Proof on the order is the chain of custody already used for medical work: signature and photo confirmation, and a full audit trail. Temperature control applies when the product needs it. What is a DME courier?
A DME courier delivers durable medical equipment to a patient or a facility and can bring it back. Dragonfly does white-glove DME delivery with setup assistance: wheelchairs, hospital beds, oxygen equipment, and more, plus the medical supplies that ride with them.
Do you set up equipment in the patient's home?
In-home setup is available. The published scope is setup assistance, assembly, and demonstration. It is not a clinical service and it is not a nurse visit. Say on the quote which of those three the piece needs.
Can you do same-day hospital bed or oxygen delivery for discharges?
STAT delivery is available from 30 minutes, and same-day scheduled delivery is a defined window. Hospital beds and oxygen equipment are already in the DME list. Whether a same-day discharge in a given city is staffed is answered on the quote, not by a blanket promise.
Do you pick up returns and exchanges?
Yes. Return and exchange pickups are part of DME delivery for suppliers.
Are drivers HIPAA-trained, and will you sign a BAA?
Drivers are background-checked and HIPAA-trained. A BAA is published as available for enterprise pharmacy clients on the trust page. Ask for it on a DME quote. This page does not widen that sentence on its own.
What vehicles do you use, and do you have liftgates?
Lift-gate vehicles are described on the industrial 3PL page for pallet and heavy final mile. This DME page does not copy that claim onto hospital beds. Tell us the piece and the access at the home. The vehicle is part of the quote.
