Rate limits
Per-key and signup limits.
| Endpoint | Limit |
|---|---|
Order and webhook endpoints (/v1/orders*, /v1/webhooks*) | 100 requests per minute per API key |
POST /v1/signup | 10 per hour per IP address |
GET /v1/signup/{id} (polling) | 60 per hour |
Beyond a limit you get 429 RATE_LIMITED. Wait and retry with exponential backoff.
Staying well under
- Use webhooks instead of polling. Webhook deliveries don't count against your limit.
- If you poll, once a minute per open order is plenty.
- Creating many orders at once (a day's pharmacy batch, say)? Send them sequentially or a few at a time; 100 a minute is about 6,000 an hour.
